Dear Israel – by @NasimaBee

Below is a poem written by @NasimaBee. It was inspired by post, To My Unborn Children.

Dear Israel,

I feel to break every single wall right now,
Punch and kick and shove any life that was in them,
Scream at the top of my lungs with frustration,
I need to have this out.
I want to stomp out every grain of sand that has settled here,
Each illegal morsel that has forced itself in to my homeland,
Deflate any soul that is resisting my existence.
I won’t just fight, I will kill,
Bloodbaths, to bring back, the truth of it all.
I am furious.
I am sick to death of you,
Causing me hell on earth,
When my land was made beautifully,
Now its your stolen turf.
You must think that wiping out my history,
Will eliminate the best of me,
You are awfully wrong,
Too many people have seen,
Too many people have heard my song,
Do not get comfortable,
Cos I am not gone.
I am here.
Violence aside,
Although I’m stricken with fear,
We need to survive,
So I think its time,
Time for you to leave now,
This destruction,
This damage caused,
My people need to live through it.
We need peace.

Oppressed child.

  2. keep the faith….not meaning to sound trite, but the saying, “sometimes life just isn’t fair” in my own personal story, a stark difference from yours, i have had to battle demons, sometimes i won and sometimes i lost….but it is true for a good many of us, that life is not fair……i pray that God will do for u and your country a mighty miracle……i pray that peace break out between the warring peoples…..amen
