The Sunset and Us

I missed the sunset
Which I now regret
Though she insisted
I resisted
She wanted me to join her
I wanted to be there
But my shyness
Was bigger than I knew
She went there
While I stayed here
She admired the sunset alone
While regret reached to the bones
She comes back and had me promise
That I’ll go with her next time
But deep inside I
Doubt I’ll do it
